After we set sail from the old harbour of Chania we will enjoy the wind and open sea until we get to our destination. As our tours are always private , we can stop on the way to admire and take a dive at any of the bays or caves that catch your attention. One such bay we will visit during our tour is Chironissia ,a hidden gem, with breathtaking waters and perfect calm.

The tiny beach of Macharida is located 14 km northeast of Chania and 1 km west of the village of Chorafakia, hidden in a rocky bay. The bay is bordered to the north by a cape that is said to resemble a knife, hence its name. According to another version, it takes its name from the knife flower that thrives in Crete.

The bay faces southwest and is almost always serene. In the center is formed a beautiful small sandy beach with white sand and turquoise waters, surrounded by beautiful rocks.

Agioi Theodoroi, or Thodorou island, as locals call it, is the closest destination to the Old Venetian Port of Chania. After passing right next to the lighthouse – landmark of the port and having enjoyed a full view of the city of Chania, we will need only 10 minutes to reach this beautiful island Theodorou Island is a Natura- protected area, due to the variety and rarity of plants and animals and a really unique place for its Historical remains.

On the southern part of the island and just above a huge cave, one can see the ruins of a Venetian castle built in 1537. A perfect place for photographs. On the northern side of Thodorou island, lays Glaronisi, an even tinier island. This is the wildest part, called «black wall» and where one can encounter the famous wild goats of Crete, the «kri kri».

Close to this point is an amazing place for swimming: crystal waters, starfish and shells call also for a unique snorkeling experience. While exploring the seabed try and find the wreck of the German aircraft «Junker 52» of the World War II, which rests underneath.

There is no better way to indulge yourself than taking a short afternoon tour and enjoy the sunset on board. You will love the view of the old harbour from our decks and lounge as you have definitely not seen it in that way before.

We offer two destination options during our sunset tours:

1. We head west towards the islands of Thodorou and Lazareta enjoying the amazing views and even taking a swim in the crystal clear waters. The islands are only accessible by boat and thus keep their character and beauty.
You can relax on our decks, try your hand at snorkelling,soak up some sun and get amazed by the sun diving into the water at sunset.

2. We head east towards Macherida, passing by some wonderful landscapes and caves. After Kalathas beach, we can dive in the emerald waters of a nearby cave . Macherida,our next stop, is a lovely bay with small stretches of sand between imposing cliffs. On our way back, you will love watching the orange sun diving into the horizon, colouring the sky amazing shades !
